September 20: On My Doorstep

Henley Park Lake

Saw a picture of Henley Park lake in a local 'pub-walks' book yesterday. Despite having lived within six miles of it for most of my life, I never knew it existed. This project brings so many surprises!

I like all three but have found this one of particular interest because I find that I like the reflection that is more subtle than some I have seen. I have never evaluated reflections before but I think that some can detract from the reel image. I hope this makes sense. I like these three. CB

Beautiful pictures today Ray! However, this one I believe is my favorite. I am finding that not only am I taking pictures I never would have normally, but that I'm doing an awful lot more these days! When I otherwise would have been satisfied resting after a work day, I take a trip somewhere to find more photos. :) I WISH I had something this beautiful only six miles from my house! It's hard to find beautiful nature in Los Angeles, other than parks that are so obviously man groomed.
